What this site covers and how to find it

The counters at the top of the page summarize the archive: 26,106 player profiles, 156 seasons and 222,341 logged games. The two PIV tables list the five best careers and the five best single seasons by Baseball Data Hub's era-adjusted offense measure, each linking to the full leaderboard. Today in Baseball History lists players born or remembered on today's date, and the champions list gives the most recent World Series winners.

The Players section leads to every profile; Seasons to standings, leaders and postseason results for every year; Franchises to year-by-year records for each club. Reference pages cover the Hall of Fame, awards, 263 ballparks, managers and the Negro Leagues. The Explore menu groups the browsing tools: head-to-head comparisons, leaderboards, leaders by position, records, decades, countries, colleges and the statistics glossary.

The data was last refreshed on October 12, 2026; current-season numbers update nightly, and the About and Data Sources pages explain where each dataset comes from.
