About the NLCS MVP list
Baseball Data Hub's records of the NLCS MVP begin in 1977 and reach 2025. The earliest winner was Dusty Baker. For 2025, the table lists Shohei Ohtani. No one appears more often than Steve Garvey, listed in 1978 and 1984. The Los Angeles Dodgers lead the NLCS MVP list by club. The years just before that belong to Tommy Edman (2024), Ketel Marte (2023), Bryce Harper (2022), Eddie Rosario (2021), and Corey Seager (2020). The NLCS MVP was shared in 2016 and 2017. More NLCS MVP rows fall between 2010 and 2019 than in any other ten-year stretch of the list. The NLCS MVP also appears on every winner's profile, under awards.
