Over his career, he accumulated 2,459 hits, along with 27 home runs and 598 RBIs. Waner was also a threat on the bases, stealing 67 bases during his time in the league. His contributions to the game were recognized with a single All-Star selection and, later, his induction into the Hall of Fame in 1967.
