Hank Aaron Award

About the Hank Aaron Award list

The Hank Aaron Award list on this page runs from 1999 to 2025. Manny Ramirez and Sammy Sosa head the list chronologically, in 1999. The most recent 2025 rows name Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani. Alex Rodriguez has the most entries, winning in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2007. The list also repeats Aaron Judge (2022, 2024, and 2025), Barry Bonds (2001, 2002, and 2004), and Shohei Ohtani (2023, 2024, and 2025). Alex Rodriguez won every year from 2001 through 2003. The League column shows separate American and National League winners from 1999 on. No club turns up in the Hank Aaron Award Team column as often as the New York Yankees. The years just before that belong to Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani (2024), Ronald Acuña and Shohei Ohtani (2023), Paul Goldschmidt and Aaron Judge (2022), Vladimir Guerrero and Bryce Harper (2021), and Jose Abreu and Freddie Freeman (2020). By decade, the years 2010 and 2019 hold the most Hank Aaron Award entries. Manny Ramirez (1999) heads the AL side of the list. The first National League row is Sammy Sosa in 1999. Each name links to the player's profile, where the Hank Aaron Award also appears in the honors table.
